We post salary ranges in our job descriptions. We’ll also detail the interview process, including how many stages there are, who you’ll be speaking to and why, as well as whether there is a project or case study as part of the interview process. There won’t be any surprises.
Timely
Communication
All applicants will hear back from us as to whether we’ll be moving forward with their application within 2 weeks of applying (but we aim for it to be sooner!). During the interview process, we won’t let a candidate go more than a few days without an update from us, even if that update is that there is no update to share just yet.

Senior Project Manager

Kevala is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong energy experience across thespectrum of policy, data, engineering, regulatory, and utility operations. Kevala’s projects range from small projects with short turnaround times to larger multi-year contracts with many moving pieces. Work duties include the development and management of project scopes of work and work plans, active client engagement, translating client needs to internal analytics and platform staff, preparing for and leading client-facing meetings, conducting research and analysis, and spearheading the delivery of our work to clients.

Data Product Manager

Kevala is looking for a self-motivated Data Product Manager with experience managing a data product roadmap in an early-stage, software, start-up environment. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Kevala’s data, driving the timely acquisition and publishing of new datasets into the Kevala platform through our emerging Data Management framework.

Staff Software Engineer, Front End

Kevala is looking for a self-motivated Front-End Software Engineer to lead the development of the Kevala UX Framework. Kevala’s platform enables utilities, regulators, renewables developers and mobility companies to solve their biggest problems related to electrification and decarbonization. To support this, we’re implementing a comprehensive UX framework to drive standardization and scale across our platform.

Senior Data Engineer

Kevala is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with extensive experience in Python, Airflow, dbt, and BigQuery. The candidate should also have familiarity with electric utility data and distribution infrastructure, data warehouse experience, and an understanding of data governance.
